A family in need

My mum's cousin passed away early this morning in Lebanon from cancer. He's left behind a wife, and 3 young children, aged 10, 8 and 6 months. They were struggling financially whilst he was healthy and working, as many families in Lebanon are, and now that he's passed away, they have no income coming in at the moment and are relying on family and friends to help them out to survive the coming months.

I wanted to raise some money to send to them inshaa'Allaah. I don't have a set amount in mind, but I thought if we could raise a minimum of $1,000 it would be of great assistance to them in this time of need, and would go such a long way to helping them out. I'm only going to raise funds for the next week as we want to raise money for other initiatives in the coming weeks inshaa'Allaah.

His wife has been so patient mashaa'Allaah during the past few months, and I pray that Allaah rewards her with being re-united in Jannat al-Firdaus with her husband for dealing with this trial in the most amazing of manners. She truly has been a great example to all those around her.
