Today we made home made battered fried flake fresh from the fish market with chips (home made) samke harra using fresh snappers too, fried battered calamari, garden salad and we also grilled some of the fish with just flour. It was really nice especially the samke harra alhamdullilah it turned out really nice but we made the batter a bit too thick, would have been perfect if it were thinner.

Tonight we are going to my brothers house for iftaar InshaAllah. I predict his wife will make lasagna, lebanese sausages, garlic bread, salad, stir fry and kefta. Desert will probably be either a cake from the cheesecake shop or lebanese sweets from Balha's. Looking forward to it!

I made lemon slice yesterday - it was soooooo good! I used arrow root biscuit yesterday though, instead of granita. I think that would have been better.

Inshaallah I'm going to make that haven't had lemon slice in ages! I reckon some nuts in the mixture would make it taste even better! Granite is definitely nicer biscuit to use!

Today made nandos tyle chicken wraps (using nandos lemon/herb marinade) with some chips and steamed dim sims and grilled garlic skewered prawns. The nandos marinade taste different to the one you get in the actual restaurant which was a bit disappointing but it was still yummy mashallah.

Made chicken/potato home style curry with rice. Made some chicken rolls (soft bun with a creamy chicken filling) that are shaped like a rose. Very cute. And easy.
