Isolation, Integration and Identity - the Muslim experience in Australia [The La Trobe Journal, No. 89 May 2012. Edited by Rachel Woodlock and John Arnold].

The above book was recommended and in fact gifted to me by a sister who thought it was a good read; may Allah (swt) reward her.
I am about 60 pages into the book and it has been an excellent read thus far; purposeful content and engaging with the use of illustrations throughout the book. Even though I have only read about 1/4 of the book, it truly exceeded my expectations so I feel confident recommending it.
The problem is, the book is not stocked in mainstream bookstores across Australia so I am not sure how you can obtain a personal copy. There is no online version of the whole book either, to my knowledge.
If anybody is eager, I can lend you the book once I have read it, on the condition that it is kept in pristine condition
Here is a short overview of the book and the people behind it:

The issue includes several contributions by University staff, including articles on the history of Muslims in Australia, Persian architecture in Melbourne, Muslim women commentators in the media, and Muslim participation in multifaith initiatives in Victoria.
Professor Frances said the issue made a positive contribution to the history and understanding of Islam and Muslims in Australia.
“In addition, I’m pleased to see that eight out of the 12 contributors are women,” Professor Frances said.
The journal was published to coincide with the major exhibition ‘Love and devotion: from Persia and beyond’ at the State Library of Victoria until 1 July 2012.

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allâh as just witnesses and let not the enmity and hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just: that is nearer to piety, and fear Allâh. Verily, Allâh is Well-Acquainted with what you do. (Al-Mā'idah: 8)
