To the sisters, the wives of the da’ees and mujahideen.

The da’ee is the one who understands that da’wah is fard upon all Muslims to call to Islam to make the word of Allah the highest. Jihad is fard upon all Muslims to fight to make the word of Allah the highest.

May Allah bless you and thank Allah that you are a wife of someone who is da’ee or mujahid, what a blessing to be married to someone who is so busy thinking about how to make the deen of Allah the highest, the ummah of Muhmmad (saw) the highest, if you do not thank Allah for the ni’am, He (swt) will take it from you, if you thank him he will increase it for you, be thankful that you are married to someone who is not selfish, he is busy for the Ummah not for himself, do not be worried that he is busy all the time, be thankful that he is busy for the deen of Allah, working for the reward of him and for you, for the pleasure of Allah and not busy cheating on you.

One thing that women do not realise, is that anything that a husband does for the sake of Allah, and his wife helps him, she gets reward, be thankful that you are married to someone who is busy collecting the hasanaat and not busy collect dunya and sin.

It could be that he stays up all night and is too tired to pay attention to you, but it is better that he is busy for the ummah and the da’wah, then for him to be sitting all day at home with you selfishly without to even think about the ummah or to fulfil his obligations of da’wah and commanding good and forbidding evil.

If you have a treasure, you must sacrifice a little for it, you have a treasure in your husband and you must sacrifice a little for that treasure.

It is a blessing of Allah that He granted you a father for your children like this, even if he does not work and is busy all day for da’wah, that is better than the one who is busy all day working for money.

    Ask yourself sincerely,
1- Did you give any word of encouragement for his da’wah?

There are some people who do not even listen when her husband speaks about the ummah. Did you ever show appreciation or show interest and encouragement about what he is working with.

Do you nag at him or moan about his lack of time? Be like Khadijah (ra) when Muhammad (saw) disappeared and was given a big responsibility when the Qur’an was revealed to him, she said, “Allah will never let you down, you are the one who carry the crops, the one who honours the guests, who has no money but you help the needy people, you help the people in the time of crisis, …

I was really touched by this article, until i got to this line...

even if he does not work and is busy all day for da’wah, that is better than the one who is busy all day working for money.
I'm not saying that we have to be workaholics and be money hungry, but I have a real problem with the idea that we can live off centrelink benefits for dawah purposes. Of course if people have other means that is all good, but it just seemed to be encouraging this idea which I dont think we should be encouraging.

I know it wasnt the point of the article or anything, but as somebody who worked in the employment industry previously, it is a bit of a pet hate of mine so I felt the need to say something.

jazakillah khayran for pointing that out, I don't agree with that idea either I think it's even wrong Islamically as the man should be making money and that's a fard on him to take care of his family's needs.
