A cry for someone to listen

Dear Everyone in the universe reading this who has a heart:
I am stuck in Warrnambool, 4 hours away from Melbourne. There are NO muslims here and yesterday I was attacked with a baseball bat by my uncle who has a history of criminal records and being in jail for stabbing someone. He attacked me 2 hours after I had left hospital for my miscarriage and kicked me in the stomach leaving me with multip...le bruising internal and external. Because the police are all corrupt down here my GRANDMOTHER is covering for my uncle and said that i instigated it and that it was all in self defence. Now I am under investigation from the cops and am traumatised beyond belief. I just need to get this off my chest. When your own blood turn on you in such a way it makes you think twice about life. I want to move to Melbourne or Sydney in an Islamic community ASAP. My mother and immediate family members support my beliefs and will help me move if thats what I want to do... I need some advice from the Islamic community on what to do

Firstly a lot of us have family problems, especially those who are reverts. So if they support your reversion & respect your decision that's great, but when they go against your beliefs & try stopping you from practicing, abuse you etc... Then it's time to get far away from them. Allah awj is all we need in this world & it's tests like what your going through now that will make you realize that Allah awj really is the only one you need in this world IF you do take the step to move away from the oppressive people in your life & closer to a Muslim community were you will be influenced to do more to please Allah awj.
May Allah awj make it easy on you...

I want to move to a sydney or melbourne islamic community but i just dont know how to go about it! Obviously I cant stay with random people or cant sleep at the mosque and as i am not working due to several physical and mental health injuries it makes things difficult. I miss my muslim friends

Sis do you have some kind of disability pension if you can't work? Could you afford to rent a small unit maybe?

I'm sure you can share rent accomodation with other single sisters/ students. You used to live in Melbourne , Northern subrub so would know the area a bit. Now , its just to spread the word around that you are interested in sharing accomodation with sisters.

I understand you have taken up Ummi Abdul malik's offer to stay with her , so , while in Melbourne, you can start looking.

You should do that for sure, and I agree you should be able to find shared accomidation with other single Muslim women, especially students. I dont know any one but maybe others here do.

Salam, may Allah make your affairs easy this eid. If you want to live with muslim sisters in a shared accommodation then I would recommend those who are students, I think that's the easiest and most reliable way, I used to see some advertisement for it, and If I do soon then I will let you know.

If not, is it possible to request for a housing commission via centrelink?

my apologies sister ive been in and out of hospital for almost 7 days and yesterday was assaulted by my uncle and ended up in hospital again. My intentions are to message you back but I am on so much medication i am only awake for sometunes an hr pls have patience
