A pregnant sister needing our help

A sister who recently lost her husband and is pregnant is in financial difficulty. We'd like to raise funds to help her out inshaa'Allaah, as we've done for some other sisters in the past.

I wanted to remind everyone what Allaah subhanahu wa ta'aala tells us in regards to those who spend of the weatlth that He has provided us with:

“The likeness of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allaah, is as the likeness of a grain (of corn); it grows seven ears, and each ear has a hundred grains. Allaah gives manifold increase to whom He wills. And Allaah is All-Sufficient for His creatures’ needs, All-Knower." (Surat al-Baqarah, Ayah 261)

So I ask that you all give for the sake of Allaah, and know that your wealth will not deminish, rather it will increase inshaa'Allaah. If you could also make much du'a for the sister. We'll continue raising funds until Sunday 2nd September inshaa'Allaah. The sister's situation is urgent, so please also bear that in mind.

alhamdulillah $2200 as of today. insha'Allah tomorrow we will be stopping this fundraising and will pass on the money to her next week inshallah. She was told that we had raised some money for her and she was extremely thankful for your generosity. As you can imagine she is in a difficult situation dealing with the loss of her husband and coping with pregnancy by herself let alone the financial difficulties when the main breadwinner is suddenly gone so may Allah SWT reward you all.

Pink yes inshallah. we usually wait a few days after the fundraising closes to make sure all the money has come through especially for a weekend as it can take 2 days to show up sometimes.

Najah - alhamdulillah. Sometimes I think about that many times these people may not say to people that they need help and its an easy way to get the word out there anonymously on their behalf knowing they do need help. Alhamdulillah we are part of this ummah who do help each other in need. And relieving a bit of the burden off a Muslim - what a great deed!

Alhamdulillah it came at a good time for her to help her out and she was very thankful for all your generosity. inshallah she is able to focus on her children rather than worrying about her finances at this difficult time for the time being. may Allah SWT reward you all and also make it easier for her and strengthen her iman through this trial.
