I took these shots with my optios4, i upgraded to an optio s10, but the s4 is a very nice camera, i dropped it a few times and it works perfectly, little bit expensive but you should buy a camera that best suits the types of photos you will be taking..





Theres a few 8 megapixel camera's going for under $200 sis, even no frills brands for $100..
Good budget cams if your going to be taking photo's around the house etc.
But this optio s4 and other cams in its class takes photos as you can see the shot, not so much digital, which makes it a good all round camera.

At least do a search online for cameras, and then do some price hunting via shopferret.com.au or shopbot.com.au and find out the prices

That way you have a rough idea of the prices and have some haggling power b'idhni'L-Laah.

If you live in the South East suburbs, I advise you to go to Harvey Norman's Fountain Gate and ask for "Aman", and Afghani Brother, who will help you match the prices that you saw online.

I remember when I bought my Panasonic Lumix FX-01, when PAnasonic had it advertised at $450, I think it was, I got it for (with some extras) for around $50 less!

Sorry for not explaining in proper detail, s4 and s10 is just the model name of the pentax brand of camera's.. You should go to Teds camera store..


here's a good camera for $179 which is 8 megapixels, this will take good shots and olympus is a good brand. pixels just means the amount of resolution the end result photo will be, the higher the pixel rate the better image quality. 8 is more than enough for amateur photographers. Im no pro but inshAllah next time i go oversease im gonna turn pro.

Also, not just the megapixels.

For real sharp images, make sure that the camera can take at least 150 PPI (pixels per inch) pictures!

My camera take 72 PPI and it sucks big time

But I advise a high PPI number!

At least 150, preferably 300 PPI.

Even if you get a 5 MP camera with 300 PPI, the pictures come out absolutely stunning
