    I kind of agree taliban_princess, it is best to hide our children from the eye, as there is always the possibility of being afflicted with evil.

    Take a sign from how we as Muslims seek Allah's protection for children.

    The Prophet (SAW) used to seek Allah's protection for Al-Hasan and Al-Husain by saying:

    I seek protection for you in the Perfect Words of Allah from every devil and every beast , and from every envious blameworthy eye.
    'U'eethukumaa bikalimaatil-laahit-taammati min kulli shaytaanin wa haammatin, wa min kulli 'aynin laammatin.


    May Allah bless you, im sure you only have best intention, and hopefully there arent any envious people thinking ill on this forum, but its best to be safe and submissive to every aspect of the deen.
    How canst thou say to thy brother,Brother,let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye.

    SubhanAllah that's so true! You really forget about that sometimes. Same goes for the people who have 500 non-muslim "friends" on their facebook pages and post photo's of themselves and their children - they need to also be careful. May Allah protect all our children (ameen).

    see to me I don't think that is funny because it's the medias way of brainwashing their viewers into thinking that Muslims - or people who wear turbans and have beards - are responsible for hijackings/terrorism etc.
