Ameen, Subhan`Allah excellent story brother, May Allah reward you for sharing that.
I remember in primary school even though I am from a Muslim family I did come under influence of my Jehovahs Witness friends, subhan`Allah they teach them to propagate from such a young age, but alhumdulilah they had left the school by the time I grew an interest in Religion, for only Allah knows where I would be today if they were there, he left only months before I became interested.
All praise is due to Allah for keeping us upon His path. He has blessed us.

Mash'Allah jazaakullah khairan all for your kind words and du'a.
Something I didn't mention is that I find how Brothers and Sister from 'Muslim' families reverted back to the religion of Truth amazing. Many a time I have met Muslims who mash'Allah are practicing fantastic but their parents attempt at Islam is to the say the least sad and vice a versa.
"O Muslims, take lessons from those who came before you.....before those who come after you take lessons from you......"
Another thing before I go that I forgot to mention. is that 6 of my friends from my High School embraced Islam aswell. So we have 7 of us all up insha'Allah from a wide range of different backgrounds.Last edited by Muhammad Abdullah; 12-Aug-2004 at 06:01 PM.

Asalamualaikum,
subhanallah that was such a beautiful story to read mashallah... I also thought that you were going to write in the end that you got married to that girl.. It is soooooo amazing how allah guides people who want to be guided no matter what they have done in the past as allah is all forgiving and mercyful subhanallah.. The best part of islam is that muslims come from all different backrounds and no matter where you come from we are all equals..
Wa alaikum salam"No doubt the muslim woman is the most refined example of womanhood ever known in any human society."

I also read that story from islam tommorow a long time ago and truly love it.. Mainly the part about how they all went down to the table each one with a different bible and the brother had the only 1 quaran subhanallah what an eye opener for those people...

maashaAllaah, what great and inspiring stories. Allah (s.w.t) guides those to Islam who are worthy of guidance and leaves astray, those, who are worthy of the fire.
May He(s.w.t) keep you steadfast on His religion and may He(s.w.t) allow myself and yourselves to end our terms in this life remaining worthy of His(sw.t.) Guidance."So do not become weak, nor be sad, and you will be superior if you are indeed mu'mineen." [El-'imran:139]
"Those unto whom men said: Lo! the people have gathered against you, therefore fear them. But it only increased them in faith and they cried.. Allah is sufficient for us! Most Excellent is He in Whom we trust! [El-Imran: 173-174]
" and He made the word of those who disbelieved the lowermost, while the Word of Allah is the uppermost; and Allah is 'Azeez, Hakeem!" [Et-'tawbah:40]

May Allah reward you all for ur encouraging comments. I actually enjoyed telling you all my story although it was a bit emotionally draining.
I am not sure what I did that made me worthy of guidance, and I sincerely mean that. But I cannot thank Allah enough for guiding me. Jazaakullah khairan for your du'a.maashaAllaah, what great and inspiring stories. Allah (s.w.t) guides those to Islam who are worthy of guidance and leaves astray, those, who are worthy of the fire.
Yes we do mash'Allah, I really look up to them all. Such knowledge mash'Allah.Masha`Allah we have many reverts on this site, several people have given their stories, it is great to see.
I was recently putting together a small talk on tawbah. Sheikh Muhammad Saleh al-Munajjid was mentioning in one of his books about how Allah (ta'ala) showered His mercy on the man who killed 100 people before making his intention to repent. Even though some of the Angels thought he deserved the Hell Fire and were ready to take him there because as they said "He had done nothing good", Allah still showered him with such beautiful mercy just because he 'wanted' to repent. Allahu'akbar! It is soooooo amazing how allah guides people who want to be guided no matter what they have done in the past as allah is all forgiving and mercyful subhanallah..

assalamu 'alaikum,
jazakallah khair for everyones stories. may Allah keep us all guided ameen.
Alot of Muslims also go through a 'reversion' process because many are brought up not much better than alot of kuffar.. unfortunately.
wassalamu alaikumAl-Hasan al-Basri said of hypocrisy: No one fears it but a believer, and no one feels safe from it but a hypocrite.

wa'alaikum salaam wa'rahmatullah
I usually find their stories a lot more exciting. Reason being sometimes it seems they have a bigger struggle and Allah knows best. A lot of Australian parents except certrain aspects of the religion aslong as it doesn't involved them. But when a 'Muslim' father's daughter put on Hijab and she tells him to fear Allah and start to pray it can become difficult. I have heard many a time a father saying "I was born Muslim, you don't know what is Sunnah, I know what is best, take off your hijab!"Alot of Muslims also go through a 'reversion' process because many are brought up not much better than alot of kuffar.. unfortunately.
May Allah guide us all.

Assalamualaikum
My favourite story of repentance has to be the person of bani israeel, when Allaah punished the whole Ummah because of him, during the time of Musa as. And then he repented and secret, and the clouds of mercy began to gather. Remeber that one, thats beauty. Allaah the Most Merciful, even kept his identity secret from Musa as.
if someone has the full text of that hadeeth plz post it, i read it on one of Muhammad al-Shareef's articles/khutbahs.فاصبر ان العاقبة للمتقين
The end is with deeds
wassalam
