I know that On Saturdays, 2pm I think, there are classes every week at the Doncaster Masjid for kids ... that's for Quran reading.

Preston Mosque used to have them as well.. I'm to too sure if they still run though, but they start from 9am until 1.30pm i think.
You might need to contact them and ask.

AMSAA at Noth Melbourne masjid are starting some programs up soon, in sha'Allah. You can contact them on (03) 9329 0285 for details. Programs include Hifz (4, 3 and 2 sessions per week), Arabic, and Islamic History (as well as an awesome taekwondo program

Yeah the YMA Madrasah program has been very very successful over the last few years alhamdulilah. Some up and coming genius's coming through the ranks

Tay, you would not happen to be a YMA graduate?
Yes MaashaAllah a very organised madrassa and some very dedicated people to volunteer and run it.
Last year had more than 250 students enrolled.

Not a madrasah graduate no. I was too old to be part of it when it came into effect. I was never able to attend unfortunately

Catch the city circle tram down to King st (or walk - it'll take you about 10 mins)
Turn right at King st, First street on left is jeffcott st.
ICV is on right hand side next to open air car park as you walk toward spencer street.

There is also Jum'a prayer at RMIT prayer room...Which in the campus opposite to the state library and there is one in Bourke Street...I heard the campus in sawston street is for men only...

Exact address i am not sure...But If you know Target in Bourke Street, there is RMIT bussiness building opposite to it...Its in Bourke between swanston and Russel Street (am i confusing u)...In Level 2 search for the Muslim Prayer Room....Masha Allah, it is well build and it is actaully a new prayer room desgined couple of yrs back.....
I am sorry brother for my bad description but i had only been there Once...Maybe any brother or sister study at RMIT from this forum couple help...Otherwise, it is a good idea to go around bourke street and explore it....Its quite interesting street,lool
