263. Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "He who takes care of an orphan, whether he is his relative or a stranger, will be in Jannah with me like these two". The narrator, Malik bin Anas raised his forefinger and middle finger for illustration.
[Muslim].

Commentary: The Islamic system of welfare and economic security is not restricted to relatives only. It includes every orphan and needy. If Muslims put this system into practice, there will be no need for insurance - a system which is based on usury. May Allah enable the Muslims to adopt the teachings of Islam so that they will be relieved of the curse of the system of usury.

The (Daawah Association of Western Australia) DAWA is raising money to build a new Masjid. Council approval has already been received. Please give generously for the sake of Allah.

For some reason we can't upload the pdf doc. Please email at dawa@iinet.net.au and it will be forwarded to you.

I use to work at the DAWA centre, and two years ago, it was an issue because of it's size (too small) and the limited parking. People use to spill out onto the road at Jumu'ah. And the neighbours (its an industrial area) use to make it very difficult...putting on loud music etc. Apparently it's gotten worse.

Please support this masjid. It's a wonderful community over there and they need our support. We all know the value and on-going reward for building a masjid

Many Muslims in Mindanao barely have enough money for rice and are constantly harassed and raised by the Filipino Army. Donate to help them as they have asked for help from us and any help we give will go a long way Inshaa'Allaah.
